I ordered an iron/nickle meteorite and a Spinosaurus tooth. Shipping was fast but when I opened them at home the tip of the tooth was gone, though I saw in the description that it had been repaired. Not sure what to do I sent them and email to explain and with a couple hrs he wrote back very apologetic and said he sending another one to me, comparable to the one I ordered. He's covering all cost and told me to not even bother sending the broken one back. Truly not what I was expecting to hear but very pleased with their willingness to make it right. Its going to make it on time for Christmas and that's all that matters. Thanks again guys!

Company does not disclose they won't ship to anywhere other than your billing address and then asks for a picture of your drivers license or another ID card, a picture of the credit card you used to make the purchase and proof of ownership or other proof of a "tie" to the address you want to ship your purchase to and claim that it is for "your and their safety".

They will refuse to explain why they're asking for this or how they will handle the personally identifiable information (PII) that they have asked for once you submit it and instead just cancel your order if you ask for clarification on this.

They have no idea what they're doing when it comes to the security of information you provide to them that doesn't go through their payment processor (Stripe) and I would recommend never providing them any additional information they request.

I ordered a Spinosaurus tooth for my son as a Christmas present. They delivered! The tooth is in incredible shape. It was well packaged and with documentation on where it was found. It was also bigger than I expected. It's one thing to read the size and another to see it. I'm really impressed. I'll definitely order more fossils from FossilEra in the future.

I got to see inside some of the warehouse at the annual sidewalk sale. I met so many nice, knowledgeable people working there. There were a few activities, photo ops, and demonstrations of splitting rocks for fossils or geodes. Who doesn't love paying wholesale prices for pretty rocks and fossils?!?! I'll definitely be ordering more bracelets and other things on my wish list through the website. Legit place. Don't miss out.
