Achondrite Meteorites

Achondrite meteorites are a type of stony meteorite that lack chondrules, which are small, round particles found in most stony meteorites called chondrites . Unlike chondrites, which are composed of primitive material that hasn’t changed much since the solar system’s formation, achondrites are formed from differentiated parent bodies, meaning they underwent processes like melting and solidification. This makes them more similar to volcanic or igneous rocks found on Earth.
