Angrites are a very rare type of igneous, achondrite meteorite which are believed to be among the oldest solid objects in the solar system, with ages dating back around 4.56 billion years. There are less than 50 classified angrite meteorites, totally less than 100 lbs of known material. They are named after the first one discovered, the Angra dos Reis meteorite, which was found in Brazil in 1869. Angrites are made primarily of minerals like augite, olivine, and anorthite, and they often have a high concentration of calcium and aluminum.
