Chondrite Meteorites

Chondrites are a type of undifferentiated meteorite composed of the crusts of ancient obliterated protoplants, and contain rounded grains called chondrules. These are the most common kind of meteorites found on Earth: over 85% of the total collected meteorites are chondrites. While they aren’t the most visually attractive of impact-related objects, they contain particles that are older than the Earth and even the solar system! Collectors enjoy meteorites for their extraterrestrial origins, rarity, and unique beauty.
