Dragon's Blood Jasper

This unique stone is commonly referred to as “dragon’s blood jasper” or “dragon blood stone”. It is a fairly recent discovery, quarried near Tshipise, South Africa. The name comes from the green matrix reminding people of the skin and scales of a dragon, while the red tends to look like pools of blood.
