Mookaite Jasper

Mookaite is a striking, multicolored jasper prized for its warm reds, yellows, creams, and occasional purples, often arranged in soft, painterly patterns. Geologically, it is a sedimentary rock—often described as chert, chalcedony, opalite, or a blend of all three—formed from the microscopic silica skeletons of ancient radiolarians.
